Loggia del Consiglio

 

The Loggia del Consiglio (Loggia of the Council), one of the most stylish Renaissance creations in the Veneto Region.  Tradition has it that it was built by Fra Giocondo as the seat of the City Council. 

It is composed of a portico with eight arches, the main floor has wide mullioned windows and the whole loggia seems exuberant thanks to the colourful paintings and decorative sculptures.
